Clay & Curry

A food-ordering and delivery platform that already runs a Singapore restaurant — ordering, payments, kitchen operations and a live foodpanda channel. VerBodh built it and owns it, so we can adapt it to your restaurant instead of building the same thing again from nothing.

Live in about a week · From S$5,000 · S$250 a month to run · No commission

What it does

Ready-made, made yours

The platform exists and is in service. What is left is adapting it to your restaurant — your branding, your menu, your delivery zones, your bank account — which is why this costs what it costs and why a straightforward menu goes live in about a week. A larger menu, or anything we have not built before, takes longer, and we will say so before you commit.

What you get

  • Your own ordering site, carrying your branding and your menu.
  • Card payments through Stripe, with an order marked paid only when Stripe says so.
  • Orders reaching the kitchen over WhatsApp, and staff updating them by replying.
  • A staff console for the day's orders, behind a proper login.
  • Delivery zones and fees set for the addresses you actually serve.
  • Onboarding onto foodpanda, if you want that second channel too.

Ordering systems that charge commission typically take about a tenth of every order. On S$20,000 of direct orders a month that is S$2,000 — every month, for as long as you use them. This is S$250 a month and nothing per order, so the build pays for itself in under three months at that volume. Card payments run on your own Stripe account, so takings reach your bank directly and Stripe bills you for its own fee — you will see its current Singapore rates when you register, and they are published on stripe.com. The final price depends on what you need; tell us and we will quote it.

Why it is built this way

A kitchen is not a desk

Restaurant staff are cooking, not watching a dashboard. Orders arrive as WhatsApp messages and status changes go back the same way, so the tool sits inside a habit that already exists rather than asking for a new one.

Paid means Stripe said so

An order counts as paid only when Stripe tells us directly. A confirmation that travels back through the customer's browser can be lost, repeated or forged; a message straight from Stripe cannot. So what the kitchen sees and what reached your bank never disagree.
